Our Story

We started this because agency hiring was broken

Not because the world needed another recruiting firm.

Why insurance recruiting?

Insurance agencies have a unique hiring process—and recruiting for them requires more than simply matching a resume to a job description. Licensing requirements, carrier experience, book size, account complexity, production expectations, and agency workflows all matter when determining whether a candidate is truly the right fit.

We already understand the industry.

We understand the difference between a Personal Lines Account Manager and a Commercial Account Manager. We know that having an insurance license doesn't necessarily mean someone has the right experience. And we understand that the right hire isn't simply someone who can do the job—it's someone who fits the agency, its clients, its culture, and its goals.

Insurance is our industry. Recruiting is our specialty.

Why traditional recruiting is broken

With a traditional contingency recruiting model, the recruiter is typically paid only if a candidate is hired. Because there is no guaranteed engagement from the client, the recruiter may focus primarily on quickly presenting candidates who appear to meet the basic requirements. The level of candidate engagement, screening, assessment, and relationship-building can vary significantly. In many cases, the agency receives a resume and conducts an initial qualification before submitting the candidate, leaving much of the interviewing, vetting, and decision-making process to the employer.

Why our approach is different

Our model is much more engaged and consultative. We don't simply send resumes and hope one gets hired. We become an extension of the agency's hiring team and take a more active role throughout the recruiting process.

We focus on candidate sourcing, engagement, qualification, screening, assessment, and relationship management before a candidate is presented to the client. This allows us to better understand not only whether someone can perform the job, but whether they are genuinely interested in the opportunity, understand the position, align with the agency's culture, and are likely to remain engaged throughout the process.

The key difference is that we are not just providing resumes—we are providing vetted candidates and a managed recruiting process. Our goal is to save agency owners and managers the time involved in sorting through unqualified applicants, conducting unnecessary interviews, chasing candidates, and determining whether a candidate is truly interested.
